I’m sorry, I don’t find this amusing at all. This was disrespectful and childish when Bush was in office, and it is just as distasteful now.

I will say that those who thought that having a Democrat in the WH would mean we’d finally be respected around the world were at the very least, naive. The US is a big target, and no matter what our policies or how nicely we come to them, people will always hate the “top dog”- as they see us. (of course, that’s only for the most part.)

Speaking of those who assume Obama is more highly loved around the world, note this CNN anchor’s surprised reaction when this African reporter does not affirm his leading question.
